Almost Dead

You keep dying. Seriously, why are you so sickly? Stop dying.

Effect: At the start of each day, you are affected by a random disease as per contagion, which bypasses any usual immunity or resistances to disease. You can have the ability damage cured, but it will come back after 1 hour. At the start of the next day, the damage from the disease is removed, and a new disease is applied.

You're so sickly, in fact, you keep dying from it. Once per hour, or at the beginning of any stressful situation (such as combat), you have a 5% chance of simply dying. You're actually dead, but unlike normal death, you can make a Fortitude save (DC 15 + ½ HD) once per hour to come back to life. If anyone tries to rouse you as a standard action, you also get a saving throw. At the very least, this "soft death" does count as resting.

Benefit: Any bonus feat for which you meet the prerequisites.

Special: In addition to the bonus feat, if you actually die (not due to this flaw), you have a 50% chance of it being a "soft death" you can recover from. You return to life at a minimum of 1 hp, 1 point in your ability scores, and at least 1 effective level remaining if you died from negative levels.
