Bond of the Beetle [Symbiotic] Prerequisites: Aspect of the Vermin class feature, Aspect of the Beetle.Benefit: [Symbiotic] feats increase the effectiveness of your [Hivemaster] feats. For your aspect of the beetle feat, you are considered to have one more level in hivemaster. The individual benefits of that feat are also altered, as follows.

3: Many different kinds of beetle have several unique weapons and adaptations, most different species, however, have strong legs, that make for useful weapons by themselves. So, you have taken on this key weapon, and have grown two claws that deal damage according to the table below. These are secondary natural attacks, and are in addition to any claw attacks you might already have (you would have 4 claw attacks if you already had 2 claw attacks when you gained this benefit).

7: Beetles are found everywhere in the world, from the misty, steaming rainforests, to the bottom of streams and creeks in the mountains. You have taken on the traits of the beetle, and learned to adapt to these enviroments as well. You have developed a pair of large, unweildy wings, granting you a flight speed equal to your base land speed, at clumsy manueverability. If you already had a flight speed, then instead that flight speed increases by 10 feet. You also gain a swim speed equal to your base speed, and can breathe perfectly fine underwater. If you already had a swim speed, then instead that swim speed increases by 10 feet.

11: Beetles all share a common trait in their resolute, sometimes beautiful, shells. In fact, most beetle shells are very beautiful and shiney. Your exoskeleton has changed to suit this trait of the beetle, and has perhaps grown to be an iridescent gold or marbled black and red shell. This, while being very stylish, also gives you some potent defenses. You gain spell resistance equal to 8 + your hivemaster level. If you already had spell resistance, then you instead gain a +4 increase to that spell resistance.

15: Beetles across the world have many different kinds of weapons, that can result in the death of any other insect around them at any time. As you have started to grow more and more like the beetle, you have learned to use your body to greater effect than ever before. All natural weapons you have, grow sharp, deadly, gaining a base critical range of 18-20.

Special: A character can only have a number of [Symbiotic] feats equal to the number of times that they have gained the Aspect of the Vermin class feature.
