Devastation Inhalation
Evocation [Acid, Sonic]
Level: Gluttony 3, Sorcerer/Wizard 3
Components: V, S, M
Casting time: One standard action
Range: See text
Area: Conic burst
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex half; see text
Spell Resistance: Yes

The first part of this spell consists of the caster breathing in, causing all creatures within Medium range (100 ft. + 10 ft./level) in the direction of the area of effect (a cone with a maximum width and length of 5 feet per caster level) to become caught in a vacuum. This draws all creatures that fail a Strength check (which is opposed by a caster level check) 5 feet towards the caster per level they possess. Creatures are drawn into the area of effect and pulled closer to its point of origin; once that point is reached, they do not move any further. If multiple creatures would be pulled into the same space, the creature with the lower Strength check is pulled in first.

Next, the caster unleashes a gout of noxious fumes with a thunderous belch, dealing 1d8 points of damage per caster level (half acid damage, half sonic damage) to all within a 30-foot cone. A successful Reflex save halves the damage, but affected creatures that failed the previous Strength check are not entitled to saving throws.
