Natural Specialist

You are highly acclimated to a certain biome, and are attuned to it so well that surviving there is literally second nature to you. However, you're a fish out of water anywhere else.

Benefit: Choose one biome when you take this trait. You gain a +10 circumstance bonus to Survival checks within that biome.

Drawback: You take a −5 circumstance penalty to Survival checks in all biomes other than the one you selected.

Roleplaying Ideas: You have lived in one type of place, such as a forest, for literally your entire life, and you are very comfortable there. While in your home biome, you are capable of amazing feats of survival know-how, and you can meet your needs and the needs of your friends with incredible ease. However, when going anywhere else, you don't know left from right or up from down, and would literally walk into a hole and die if not for your more adaptable allies keeping an eye on you and making sure you don't wander off into danger. Your friends are probably a bit dumbfounded by how you can be so hyper-competent in one type of place and yet so incompetent everywhere else, but hey, you're a specialist. It's just the way you are.
