Your eldritch blast turns into a trail of burning sparks in a column of smoke and ash. You deal fire damage, and the target must make a Fortitude save or be covered in black smoke which takes up the creature's square, which provides 20% concealment as smoke gets in their eyes and forces the target to hold their breath or risk suffocating in the cloying smoke for 1 round. A successful save removes the fear of suffocation and concealment, but not the damage.
This essence counts as Brimstone Blast for the purpose of pre-requisites.
