Inspiration Song

You may have noticed that this article is in the "Musically Inspired" category. This is because it is indeed based on a song… or more accurately, the character is named after one – namely, "Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac. (The idea is that, since she's the daughter of Vaati, who is known for kidnapping women and making them marry him, there could be a motif of "taken by the wind".) However, the format of an NPC page makes it difficult to work in a reference to the song, such as its lyrics, so... yeah. Type, Subtype, and Inspiration

Like her "father", Vaati, Rhiannon is meant to have a blend of human and Minish traits. (In Vaati's case, he's a Minish who became a human by donning the Mage's Cap and using its power to wish to become a sorceror mage; in Rhiannon's case, she was simply born as a human with Minish heritage. And, yes, the idea is that Rhiannon actually is Vaati's daughter, and that there's simply no proof of the connection, and Vaati himself doesn't even know that he fathered her... and, no, this isn't too farfetched. Vaati kidnapped and forcibly married a lot of women before getting sealed in the Four Sword in the backstory of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords; it's not too hard to imagine what he did with them, given the way he speaks to Zelda right after breaking out of the seal and kidnapping her in Four Swords's prologue (let's face it, forced marriage is basically a G-rated analogue to rape), nor is it exactly a logical leap of faith to assume that he sired some children in the process.)

Anyways, my point is, I want Rhiannon to be a human with some sort of half-fey template (I haven't yet made a Minish homebrew race, nor am I aware of the existence of one on the wiki, but I'll make one eventually). Thing is, I have no idea where to start on this, or what racial features to give her by virtue of this template (and by extension, how to find or make such a template). So, yeah... I'm not entirely sure what to do here. (Nor am I sure whether to make Rhiannon a human or a half-elf; Hylians have elf-like ears, but they're otherwise human, right? Except Hylians are noted to have much keener hearing than ordinary humans do, so even if they're human, they'd at least get the elf's bonus to Listen checks, but that would be pretty broken in conjunction with getting 4 extra skill points at 1st level and 1 extra skill point at every level after that, never mind that ranks in skills are capped based on your character level, so having a racial bonus to a skill makes you actually better at that skill than a member of a race without such a bonus could be... not to mention that just giving Hylians a +2 racial bonus to Listen checks without taking away a human racial feature would simply make Hylians "Humans +1", so there'd be little point to playing as a human without giving Hylians some sort of level adjustment... but humans don't have many racial features to remove — their bonus feat and bonus skill points are pretty much it... and I'm just rambling at this point...)
