First invented by the Amnite city guard captain Obh Veeus, who dabbled in arcane magic on the side, this spell functions like ''[[SRD:Augury|augury]]'', but can only determine outcomes relating to events that already happened. After casting, you may channel such an augury effect once per turn, inquiring about a specific action each time and learning how that action would have played out.

For example, while reflecting upon the sudden and gruesome death of a party member, you can cast ''hindsight'' in order to determine what actions you could have taken so that said party member may not have ended up skewered upon a spike trap or gored by three rabid owlbears. For example, not standing on the obvious pressure plate or breaking off from the party to take a look inside a dark dungeon chamber respectively might yield the Weal result.
