Necrons are the twisted remnants of a race ancient beyond comprehension. Their lust for power and immortality drove them to sacrifice their souls for ageless bodies of living metal. After their war for dominance over all life left the galaxy in ruin, they entered into stasis for millions of years. Now that the galaxy has recovered somewhat, they are beginning to awaken... seeking to reclaim their star-spanning empire of ages past.

Necron Warrior Tactics[edit]
Warriors were the least favoured of Necrontyr society when undergoing biotransferrence. They were commoners and craftsmen, not warriors at all. The process left them without life, soul, or mind. Unless directed by an intelligent necron, they hold their position and attack anything deemed an enemy from a distance. They have no understanding of tactics and will choose targets arbitrarily.

Scarab Swarm Tactics[edit]
If left to their own devices, scarab swarms will attack anything that moves. They dissolve their targets into energy which they can then reassemble into another form. Unless given direction by their masters, the swarm will continuously create more scarabs, growing at an exponential rate. When directed to do so, they can construct or repair the complex mechanisms of a stasis tomb.
Reforged[edit]
Human curiosity knows no limits. The Reforging Project started out as an initiative to research and develop better prosthetic devices for a post-war nation. It started with the hypothesis that the best replacement for flesh and bone would naturally be more of the same. Following that line of reasoning, the project's alchemists and artificers devised a way to take materials from commonly domesticated animals and alchemically modify them to be easily shaped and strengthened.
To be continued.
