Atlantean
The atlanteans are the race of people who dwell in the great lost city of Atlantis. They are creatures of the sea but they also and live on land. They have the appearance similar to elves.
Creating an Atlantean
This template can be applied to any humanoid or monstrous humanoid referred to hereafter as the base creature.
Size and Type
Size does not change, but it acquires the Aquatic subtype.
Hit Dice
HD does not change.
Speed
Base land speed is 30 and they have a swim speed equal to twice base land speed.
Armor Class
While swimming in any body of water, they get +2 Dodge bonus to AC. The Atlantean must be swimming to receive this bonus. Standing/touching or wading through water doesn't count.

Special Qualities
Amphibious (Ex): An Atlantean can breathe both water and air.
Durable (Ex): An Atlantean's body is so tough that it can withstand the pressure of any depth.
Abilities
While swimming in any body of water they get +2 Dex. Upon leaving the water the +2 Dex bonus is lost. The Atlantean must be swimming to receive this bonus. Standing/touching or wading through water doesn't count.

Skills
Swim is always a class skill and they get +8 racial bonus to swim checks. They can always take a 10 on swim checks in any situation.
Feats
An Atlantean has the Run feat but only while swimming in any body of water.
Environment
Usually any large body of water.
Organization
Challenge Rating
0= on land
+1= in water.
