tweaked the variant
[[SRD:Survival Skill|Survival]] ([[SRD:Wisdom|Wis]]) and
[[SRD:Swim Skill|Swim]] ([[SRD:Strength|Str]]).
* [[SRD:Feats (Creature Statistic)|Feats]]: A trobgub’s [[SRD:Outsider Type|outsider]] levels give it him two [[SRD:Feats|feats]].
* [[SRD:Darkvision|Darkvision]] out to 60 feet.
* Proficient with all [[SRD:Simple Weapon|simple]] and [[SRD:Martial Weapon|martial]] weapons. Proficient with [[SRD:Light Armor|light]] and [[SRD:Medium Armor|medium]] armors and shields (but not tower shields).
* Immunity to [[SRD:Poison|poison]], [[SRD:Polymorph|polymorphing]], [[SRD:Petrified|petrification]] and form-altering effects.
* Thermal Resistance: Trobgubs gain the [[Varia Skin (3.5e Feat)|Varia Skin]] feat as a racial bonus feat.* Four Arms: A trobgub has four arms, and as such, is eligible to take the [[SRD:Multiweapon Fighting|Multiweapon Fighting]] feat.
* [[Bio-Energy (3.5e Creature Ability)|Bio-Energy]] ([[SRD:Special Abilities Overview#Extraordinary|Ex]]): Xenotheric metabolism is capable of yielding large amounts of biological energy that can be used for different purposes. A xenotheric creature's ''bio-energy pool'' can hold a maximum amount of charges equal to 3 plus the Xenotheric creature's [[SRD:Constitution|Constitution]] modifier (minimum 1), and recharges at a rate of 1 charge per minute. These charges may be expended to facilitate certain special powers. Some of these powers are exclusive to specific Xenotheric species, whereas others can be accessed through various [[3.5e Xenotheric Feats|Xenotheric feats]].
* Telepathic Static ([[SRD:Special Abilities Overview#Extraordinary|Ex]]): Trobgubs lack the typical xenotheric telepathy, but can spend one point of bio-energy as a [[SRD:Swift Actions|swift action]] to emit a telepathic distortion in a radius of 60 feet that potentially disrupts nearby telepathy for a number of rounds equal to his [[SRD:Constitution|Constitution]] modifier. Creatures attempting to communicate telepathically within or through the radius must make a [[SRD:Concentration Skill|Concentration]] check ([[SRD:DC|DC]] 10 + 1/2 his HD + his [[SRD:Constitution|Constitution]] modifier) or be unable to receive telepathic communication.
