Draconic Kobold[edit]

Some Kobolds have a connection to dragons are stronger than the average Kobold. This connection is even stronger than a Dragonwrought Kobold. While they are not as powerful as Half-Dragons, they are more powerful than a Dragonwrought Kobold.

When applying this template, choose one type of dragon.

Draconic Kobolds scaly skin is colored appropriate to the type of dragon they are related.

Creating a Draconic Kobold[edit]

Draconic Kobold is an inherited template that can only be applied to Kobolds. 

Size and Type[edit]

The Draconic Kobold’s type changes to Dragon. Size is unchanged. Do not recalculate base attack bonus or saves.

Special Qualities[edit]

A Draconic Kobold loses its light sensitivity.

Because it's type is now Dragon, a Draconic Kobold now has darkvision to 60 feet and low light vision. In addition, it is immune to SRD:Sleep and paralysis.

As long as the dragon type you chose has an immunity to a regular energy type (Acid, Fire, Electricity, Cold or Sonic), the Draconic Kobold is immune to said type. If it is immune to something else, choose one energy type that you feel is appropriate. 

Abilities[edit]

A Draconic Kobold gains +2 to Strength and Constitution.

Feats[edit]

For the purpose of meeting prerequisites, a Draconic Kobold is considered to have the DragonwroughtRotD feat.

Challenge Rating[edit]

CR +1

Alignment[edit]

The Draconic Kobold usually has the Alignment of the chosen Dragon Type, but can sometimes have the alignment of a regular Kobold.
