Normally an unadorned longsword, as it clashed blades with its opponent it quickly shifted into the opponent's own +4 vorpal scythe.
The mimic blade is normally a masterwork longsword of unremarkable nature. However either on touch with another weapon, or upon attacking a creature with a manufactured weapon, you can use a swift action to steal the other weapon's form. It becomes the weapon in all respects, including shape, material, and enhancement, and you gain proficiency in the new weapon no matter how odd or exotic. It remains sized for its user. This transformation lasts until you absorb a new shape, or 24 hours. It always weighs 5 lbs no matter its form, though this does not affect its function.
The mimic blade is capable of shapeshifting into non-weapon forms up to 2 sizes smaller than normal, but is unable to perform the function of these tools unless they are simple tools with no moving parts such as a crowbar. It usually takes such forms to hide its weapon nature.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, polymorph.
