Chessmaster's Gambit [Fighter, Tactical]
You have planned out your win 30 moves in advance.Prerequisites: Int 13Benefit: You gain several tactical abilities based on the studies of a famous tactician known as the chessmaster.
- Pawn's March: If you down an opponent to your diagonal, you may make a free 5 ft step into the space they occupied. This does not count as your 5 ft step for the round.
- Bishop's Strafe: So long as you move in a straight line, you can move diagonally with no loss in movement. Each square only counts as 5 ft.
- Knight's Leap: While mounted, you can move 10 ft forward and 5 ft to the left or right as a move action without provoking attacks of opportunity. You may choose to count this as a charge if you wish.
- Rook's Charge: So long as you move in a straight line with no diagonal movement, you are not slowed by heavy armor or encumbrance.
The exact nature of this mysterious way of fighting or the meaning behind it is a mystery only the chessmaster knows.
