Adamantine Monk

An improvement to the monk, one which really does turn their body into a living weapon... and armor.

Class: Monk

Prerequisites: Con 13

Level: 1st-20th

Replaces: AC Bonus, Empty Body, Evasion, Improved Evasion, Slow Fall, Unarmored Speed Bonus, Wholeness of Body

Benefit: You become as a statue of adamantine, able to weather the most powerful of blows with no worries. Armor? Please, you soak damage. Gain the following class features.

AC Bonus: Your AC bonus now equals ½ your monk level (minimum +4), though it becomes an armor bonus. In addition you gain Masterwork Body as a bonus feat. You retain your Wisdom bonus to AC.

Universal Damage Reduction: At 2nd level, you gain ½ your monk level as universal damage reduction (DR/-). Unlike normal DR, this DR applies to all sources of damage, even energy damage. Apply universal damage reduction first before reducing it with other sources of DR or resistance. This replaces Evasion.

Monk Stability: At 4th level, you become more sturdy and heavy. You gain a +4 bonus on ability checks made to resist being bull rushed, tripped, or otherwise being forced to move from your position when standing on the ground (but not when climbing, flying, riding, or otherwise not standing firmly on the ground). This stacks with the dwarf ability. Each time you would normally gain Slow Fall, your Stability instead increases by +1 until 20th level, where you become immune to bull rushing, tripping, and other forms of forced movement. This replaces Slow Fall.

Mettle: At 9th level, you gain Mettle. Whenever you would have a Fort or Will save for a partial effect, you instead negate the effect. This replaces Improved Evasion.

Solid Throughout: At 7th level, you gain 50% Fortification. At 14th level, it becomes 100%, rendering you immune to sneak attacks and critical hits. This replaces Wholeness of Body.

Eternal Mountain: You no longer need to eat, sleep, or drink. In addition, you become immune to ability damage, ability drain, death effects, and energy drain. This replaces Empty Body.
