Its effective spell level is now equal to 1/2 your level (maximum 9th), and it gains a +2 bonus to resist dispel checks.  If it is dispelled, you may resummon it over the course of 1 minute.

The dark companion may now flank as an armed creature, though it never can make actual attacks and does not provoke attacks of opportunity because opponents automatically recognize it as an illusion.

Finally, your dark companion may rejoin your side within 5 ft of yourself as a free action on your turn.
