Immediate reaction | Compulsion, Mind-Affecting, Simple ? V, S |
Range: | Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels) |
Target: | One ally targeted with an ability requiring a save or attack roll |
Duration: | Instantaneous and Slot (see text) |
Saving Throw: | None |
This spell can be used on an ally that is targeted by an ability that requires an attack roll or a save. The ability use must have been declared, but before any dice are rolled.
If the ability requires an attack roll, the attacker must roll the d20 twice, and take the lowest result. If the ability requires a save, the defender must roll the d20 twice, and choose which result they prefer. Note that for an ability that requires a save and an attack roll, both could potentially apply. After the spell is cast, its user can choose to leave the spell expended (as per the Slot duration). As long as it remains expended, the user may use the ability again, but without expending another limited use. All other costs remain the same.
Enhanced: The target gains DR X/- for 1 round, where X is 3+[CL/2].
Diminished: Instead of the additional rolls, the target only gains DR X/- for 1 round, where X is 3+[CL/2].
Immune: No effect. | |
Alternative Names: Battle's blessing, soldier's blessing |
