Albedo Armor
Abjuration [Cold]
Level: Druid 2, Ranger 2, Sorcerer/Wizard 2
Components: V, S, M
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: Creature touched
Duration: 1 hour/level (D)
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: No

You are covered in a thick jacket of flexible magical packed snow. It's cold, but it keeps you safe.

You gain a thick and flexible layer of packed snow around your body which provides a +4 armor bonus to AC, and resist cold and fire 10.

The armor is weak to fire. For every 10 points of fire damage you take before resistance, the duration of the spell decreases by 1 hour. For every 10 points of cold damage you take before resistance, you can restore lost duration, up to the normal duration you would be allowed for your caster level minus the duration spent.

The snow has a very high albedo rating. You gain a +4 circumstance bonus on saves against [Light] effects, and half damage from [Light] damage. All creatures within 5 ft have a 50% chance of being exposed to a [Light] effect which has struck you, and the brightness provides a −4 penalty on Hide checks. On the other hand, you gain a +8 bonus on Hide checks made in snowy environments.

As an immediate action, you can completely reflect any [Light] effect back to its caster, but doing so ends this spell.

Material Component: A handful of snow.
