As you cast this spell, you conjure a lance of holy energy from the sky. You make a melee attack roll against all creatures within each 5-ft radius 40-ft high cylinder, using your [[SRD:Caster Level|caster level]] plus your key spellcasting ability modifier for the purpose of calculating the attack roll modifier and dealing 1d6 points of damage per caster level on a successful hit. Half the damage is magical piercing, but the other half results directly from divine power and is therefore not subject to damage reduction. The damage is good-aligned for the purposes of bypassing damage reduction and regeneration. Struck creatures are automatically [[SRD:Dazzled|dazzled]] and covered in ''[[SRD:Faerie Fire|faerie fire]]'' for 1 minute.

You create an additional cylinder at caster level 11th and every 4 caster levels thereafter. The cylinders cannot be made to overlap.
