== Animated Dispenser ==

An animated dispenser is either an embossing within a rock face or a statue of its own of at least Medium or larger size.  Its mouth opens while active, revealing a black void that ejects the contents it is loaded with upon triggering.  It has the same storage capacity and ability of a ''[[SRD:Handy Haversack|handy haversack]]'' and is capable of throwing items (default range increment 10 ft if not better) or launching them as from an appropriate crossbow, bow, or other projectile weapon, or activating a magic item which releases projectiles, rays, or objects and creatures such as from a [[SRD:Bag of Tricks|Bag of Tricks]] or [[SRD:Decanter of Endless Water|Decanter of Endless Water]].

The dispenser dispenses or activates its product when specific conditions are fulfilled as per ''[[SRD:Magic Mouth|magic mouth]]'' with a trigger range of up to 100 ft.  The conditions may also be time based, such as activating every few minutes or every round, or set to fire for a certain amount of time.  It will continue to activate until it is expended or its conditions are no longer present.  It can be set to launch items at a specific location or randomly within its range, but it is not capable of tracking creatures other than aiming at a pre-determined square.  Any attack rolls are made at a +5 bonus.

A secret command word can disable or enable to activity of an animated dispenser, or keep its mouth open or closed.  It can only remember to dispense or activate one product at a time, no matter how much is stored within it.  Animated dispensers, if not built into a wall, typically weigh 75 lbs or more.

The animated dispenser can be used as a magic trap.  In this case it has a Search and Disable Device DC of 20 each.
