|benefit=By expending your psionic focus, when manifesting the [[SRD:Astral Construct (Power)|''astral construct'']] power, instead of summoning it as a creature you may encapsulate yourself within it, assuming direct control.

While in astral power armor you gain a number of temporary hit point equal to that of the [[SRD:Astral Construct|astral construct]] which last until this power end or once depleted, you also gain the construct's  [[Strength]] and [[Dexterity]] score as well as it size category, it's armor class, natural attacks, speed and any abilities chosen from the astral construct menu. You otherwise keep your own statistics, hit points, attacks and class features. You retain your ability to use weapons and retain the use of your magic items, although magical weapon are not automatically resized if the size of the construct change.

This power has a few downside, while inside the Astral Power Armor your ability to manifest non-personal power or effect is greatly hindered. All creatures count as having total cover from powers or effect which emanate from you. There is two exception to this rule, a power augmented with [[SRD:Burrowing Power|Burrowing Power]] is capable of hitting either the manifester or creature outside the armor, the manifester may also manifest powers with the [force] descriptor as if it originated from the armor instead of herself.

Once your temporary hit point are depleted the armor shatters, causing her to fall in a space occupied by the construct. The manifester must then make a DC 15 [[SRD:Balance Skill|Balance]] check or fall prone. When the power's duration end or if she dismiss it she gently land in the space of her choice in the construct's space. If the astral power armor is destroyed, you may not manifest another for 5 minutes.
