You use your magical abilities to create a highly-energized dense sphere of nuclear fire, made from nearby particles, before firing it as a ray. If the ranged touch attack is successful, the target take 1d8 points of fire damage per caster level, half of this damage is fire and the other half is typeless, and 1d4 points of Constitution damage. A creature reduced to 0 hit points or lower by this spell is reduced to atomic dust, alongside all of its non-magical equipment.
All creatures adjacent to the target take splash damage equal to the spell's minimum damage, half of which is fire and half being typeless.
