|benefit=You gain the ability to construct freestanding vats for additional Monster Crafting outside of your Monster Control Vault. Each vat takes up a space 5' wider, longer, and taller than the maximum size of creature it can produce, weighs 1000 pounds per 5' cube, and must be a vat of a type and size that you possess in your Monster Control Vault. Crafting a vat of this nature costs 2000 gold in materials (glass, metal, and strange chemicals) and takes 40 hours of work. You can also have other characters build your vat for you, as long as they can communicate with you during the entire time they spend working: this takes three people the same amount of time each as it takes you, and they must collectively succeed on a DC 15 Craft check.
|example=Edmund Duke doesn't want to build the Factory (Gargantuan Construct Vat) himself, so he hands three SCVs 2000 gp worth in steel, silicon, titanium, plexiglass, acids, and alchemist's fire, and then asks them to make a Factory for him. The SCVs spend 10 hours a day for the next four days working on it, during which time they share a Transponder in order to ask Duke for construction advice. By assisting each other, and with the help of their electric welding tools, they succeed handily on their DC 15 Craft check. The newly constructed vat weighs 125000 pounds.
