This large flying drone is in the shape of a large predatory bird with a long neck like a vulture. Its flexible wings allow it to fine tune its flight, but the main source of its thrust comes from jets at the side of its body where its hips would be. Its face is blank save a single cyan optic, and its nosecone hosts an array of computers and radar equipment. Its chest contains not powerful muscles, but an extradimensional storage for dangerous weapons.
The Scientia company's research into the Vethrfolnir AL-05c Aerial Scout started with a much more military and larger form, the binesi. Based off drone fighters and cruise missiles, the bird-like binesi act as effective short range fighter planes at which are expendable. Unlike their advanced kin, the binesi are not designed for recon and are quite loud with their traditional air fed jet engines.
The standard binesi is about 6 ft long with a wingspan of 15 feet, though they are not reliant on flapping for lift. They weigh about 60 lbs and understand one vocal language (usually Common), but do not speak directly. They can, however, communicate through the use of various beeps and chirps, as well as any display. Due to their base programming, they typically act like trained birds, with occasional head quirks and natural behavior.

Binesi's fight best not in melee, but effectively as snipers and long ranged fighters. They fly into range of their ranged weapon, release, and fly away as other binesi move in to pelt the area with more shots.
Chaff (Ex): As an immediate action, the binesi can release a burst of chaff, giving it a 50% miss chance against any ray, ranged touch attack, or projectile attack. It can do this up to 5/day.
Constant Motion (Ex): The binesi gets an extra move action each round in addition to its normal actions.
Cruising Speed (Ex): The binesi can reach very high in the sky and high speeds. At altitudes of 5000 ft and higher, the Binesi's overland speed becomes 900 mph.
Death Throes (Ex): Upon hitting 0 hp, a binesi can make a single move action and then explodes into a fireball effect (10d6 fire damage). This destroys the binesi.
Improved Evasion (Ex): The binesi has improved evasion like a monk.
Payload (Ex): The binesi has a payload of weapons which allow it to carry, reload, and fire ranged weapons. It has effectively four hands for the purpose of holding and using weapons. The example binesi is equipped with a pair of bazookas with 10d6 high-explosive rockets.
Programming: The binesi possesses the following programs: Attack, Calculate, Communication, Identify Creature, Identify Object, Reposition, Search, and Self-Preservation.
Quick Reflexes: The binesi possesses a Good Reflex save for its racial HD.
Share Mind (Ex): The binesi is capable of communicating with others of its kind on a deep level, effectively granting it Telepathy 100 ft, but only with binesi.
Vulcan Cannon (Ex): The binesi's vulcan cannon is a ranged weapon which deals 4d6 piercing damage, and has a range increment of 100 ft.
Skills: The binesi has a +8 racial bonus to Spot checks.
