In battle, the color black symbolizes an unrelenting tyranny and oppression. The black knight is a supreme existence on the battlefield, that drives his enemies before him like whipped cattle. The black knight should never have to look up at a foe, and his name is spoken of in bardsong and frightful folk tales alike. It's the black knight's unshakable might and charisma that makes him seem invincible. In order to express this martial supremacy, a proper suit of armor is needed.
