Blighted SoulEdit

I wish my stare were also poisonous, so you'd be dead.
—Yulie Zaplyuysvіchka, Human Biohazard Blighted Soul, Anger Issues

Blighted souls are rare and far between thanks to the Gods, they are inherently poisonous to their very core, from their blood and flesh to their soul (figuratively speaking for the latter). Not all blighted souls are the agent of sinister powers bent on destroying all that is beautiful, but most are. The process of becoming a blighted soul requires one to become immune to poison and then drink twice one's body weight in a poisonous mixture which costs 4000 gp of raw material, all of this within 24 hours.

Uncontrolled Blighted Soul: It is possible that a blighted soul may not have the ability to suppress any of her abilities. This is often the case with biohazard blighted souls. In exchange, the blighted soul gains a single extra blight ability at 4th and 7th level. This sort of blighted soul, however, may not be fit for a player character, and so a player must have his DM's permission before taking this option.

Class FeaturesEdit

All of the following are class features of the Blighted Soul.

Immunity (Ex): A blighted soul gains immunity to ability damage and drain.

Poisonous Bile (Ex): As a standard action a blighted soul can create a single dose of green nettle resin or purple rot resin, she may apply it with the same action she used to create it. The created resin last 1 minute if not applied before becoming stagnant and harmless. She may use this ability a number of time per day equal to her constitution modifier.

Toxicity (Ex): A 1st-level blighted soul's body fluid turns into a deadly poison. Any creature which come into contact with them must make a fortitude save or take one point of constitution damage with no secondary effect. This may apply if a creature bites the blighted soul, kisses her, or otherwise comes into contact with at least one drop of body fluid. This allows the blighted soul to use her own blood or saliva as a poison. Any body fluid no longer in contact with the blighted soul becomes harmless after 1 minute. A creature which succeeds on its save against a blighted soul's toxicity is immune for 1 minute. A blighted soul can suppress or resume her toxicity as a free action.

At 5th level, the poison improves to 1d4 constitution damage as a primary effect and unconsciousness for 1 hour as a secondary effect.

At 10th level, the poison improves to 1d6 constitution damage as a primary effect and death as a secondary effect.

Bacterial Sterilization (Ex): The 2nd-level blighted soul is so poisonous that no diseases can live nearby; she becomes immune to disease. Any diseases within 30 ft. of her are automatically sterilized and cured. Because of the blighted soul's inherently poisonous nature, this can be very dangerous. The blighted soul may suppress or resume this ability as a free action.

Maneuver-Like Abilities: At 2nd level and each even level thereafter, the blighted soul gains a single Blighted Serpent maneuver she meets the prerequisites of as a maneuver-like ability.

Blight Ability: At 3rd level and each 3 level thereafter, the blighted soul gains a single ability from the list below:

Absorb Venom (Ex): The blighted soul can absorb any poison she touched with her bare skin inside of her (including from attacks made with poisoned weapons). She can release the absorbed poison as a swift action, allowing her to bottle it or poison her weapons very quickly. Any poisons preserved inside the blighted soul never lose their potency, even if they would otherwise.

Bio-Blast (Su): As an attack action, a blighted soul can make a ranged touch attack within 60 ft., dealing 1d6 + constitution modifier in poison damage. This attack is considered poisoned by the blighted soul's toxicity, assuming it not suppressed.

Corrosive Poison (Ex): A blighted soul's poison gains corrosive traits; each time she affects a creature with one of her poisons, that creature also takes 2d6 + her constitution modifier in acid damage (saving against the poison does not prevent the damage).

Gas Breath (Su): The blighted soul gains a breath weapon that sprays a nauseating poison in a 30 ft. cone, leaving a lingering stinking cloud in the area for 1 round. After using her gas breath, the blighted soul must wait 1d4 rounds before using it again.

Lethal Gas Breath (Su): This ability behaves as gas breath, except it leaves a cloudkill effect instead. The blighted soul must have selected gas breath in order to select this ability, and it is tied to the same recharge mechanic.
Solid Gas Breath (Su): This ability behaves as gas breath, except the gas also behaves as solid fog. The blighted soul must have selected gas breath in order to select this ability, and it is tied to the same recharge mechanic. This cannot be used in conjunction with lethal gas breath.

Poison Soul (Su): The blighted soul constantly radiates a fully augmented aura of poison. Her manifester level is equal to her character level. She may suppress or resume this ability as a free action.

Virulent Venom (Ex): A 3rd-level blighted soul ignores immunity to poison. However, her poison still does not work on creatures without a constitution modifier.

Vicious Blight (Ex): A 4th-level blighted soul may make any ability damage she inflicts with a poison become ability drain.

Invigorating Poison (Ex): As long as a 7th-level blighted soul has her toxicity active, she has fast healing equal to half her class level.

Insidious Blight (Ex): An 8th-level blighted soul may make any ability damage she inflicts with a poison become ability burn.
