Level: Cleric 5
Components: V, S, M
Casting time: 1 round
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Effect: See text
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex, see text
Spell Resistance: Yes

From the sky, a bolt of lightning rained down, scorching the earth below, and in its place, it left a common man.

Upon casting this spell under open sky, a bolt of lightning flicks down through the air at a designated location in range. Creatures caught in the target square must make a Reflex save or take 1d6 electricity damage per caster level. The bolt continues to strike the square for 1 round. Creatures that pass through the square during this time are subject to the Reflex save. At the end of the following round, an ECL 1 humanoid of the caster's choosing is created in the square, so long as the square is empty. It is created wearing clothing costing no more than 5 gp. If the creature cannot be created, the material component of the spell is not consumed.

The created creature starts with basic stats and a level in an NPC class, from which it can develop or be rebuilt as normal. It has the age, gender and appearance (within normal parameters of its race) of the caster's choosing.

Material Component: 100 gp worth of gems.
