You can form an existing piece of bone into any shape that suits your purpose.  While it’s possible to make crude coffers, doors, and so forth with bone shape, fine detail isn’t possible.  There is a 30% chance that any shape including moving parts simply doesn’t work.

If you touch a creature with a skeletal structure with this spell, it instead fuses the bones together, locking up all the joints and rendering the creature immobile.  The creature is effectively [[SRD:Helpless|helpless]] and can take no physical actions, only purely mental actions.  They become immune to critical hits as their vitals are protected by the mass of omni-bone that makes up their skeleton now.  This version of the spell is of Permanent, not Instantaneous duration.  A second casting of Bone Shape can dispel this effect.
