A wonderful marriage of alchemic mastery and high arcana, the ''bottomless potion'' is a potion that refills itself over time. The vial that contains the bottomless potion is inscribed with a series of arcane magic circles that slowly restores the contents after use. A bottomless potion can be imbibed once to three times per day to receive its effects. A bottomless potion is ruined if its container is broken.

A spellcaster with alchemical knowledge and both the [[SRD:Craft Wondrous Item|Craft Wondrous Item]] and the [[SRD:Brew Potion|Brew Potion]] feat can create bottomless potions. Bottomless potions carry the same restrictions as regular potions, with the exception that they are usable between once and three times per day.

For brewing a bottomless potion, the minimum [[SRD:Caster Level|caster level]] required is 5 higher than for ordinary potions: 6th for 1st-level potions, 8th for 2nd-level potions and 10th for 3rd-level potions. A successful [[SRD:Craft Skill|Craft]] (alchemy) check is required (DC 17 + 3 per [[SRD:Spell Level|spell level]]). The base price for a bottomless potion is its [[SRD:Spell Level|spell level]] &times; its [[SRD:Caster Level|caster level]] &times; 50 gp &times; number of uses per day, where the number of uses per day is between 1 and 3. 

To brew a bottomless potion, one must spend 1/25th of this base price in XP and use up raw materials costing one half this base price. The creator of the bottomless potion must also add five times the cost of any valuable material or XP component required for the spell contained within the potion.

Moderate varied; CL as per above; [[SRD:Brew Potion|Brew Potion]], [[SRD:Craft Wondrous Item|Craft Wondrous Item]], the spell contained within the potion, plus ''[[SRD:Permanency|permanency]]'' (no casting XP cost).

[[SRD:Craft Skill|Craft]] (alchemy) as per above. Market Price [[Cost::300 gp]], [[Cost::800 gp]] or [[Cost::1,500 gp]]. These prices are for standard 1/day 1st-level, 2nd-level and 3rd-level potions respectively.
