You see a child-sized weasel-like creature wearing a floatation ring. Its two tails whirl about like a propeller.


Crunch (Ex): When a Buizel bites you, you notice it. Buizel's Bite attack deals 1 Constitution damage and bestows a -2 penalty to Armour Class until the Ability Damage is healed. This is a [Dark] effect.

Ice Fang (Su): With a Move-Equivalent Action, Buizel can summon frost into its mouth. Its bite attack then deals an additional amount of Cold damage equal to 1d6 plus its hit dice (2d6 plus double its hit dice against Dragons, Plants or currently-flying creatures). The victim must also make a Fortitude save (Strength-based) or be Slowed for one round. The sample Buizel has a DC of 14 and deals 1d6+4 Cold damage. This changes the Bite into an [Ice] effect and does not benefit from the effects of Crunch. In a Contest, it may designate another contestant to go last on the next Round.

Aqua Jet (Ex): With an Immediate Action, Buizel may make a very short charge attack (10 feet, 20 underwater), gaining all of the usual modifiers for charging, and deals an additional 2d4 points of damage. This is a [Water] effect. In a Contest, Buizel may automatically go first, using this and gaining a +1 Bonus for each contestant it overtakes.

Hold Breath (Ex): Buizel can hold its breath for five minutes multiplied by its Constitution score (in this case, one hour and five minutes). After that, it begins to drown unless it surfaces to breathe.

Spell-like Abilities (Sp): At will: create water, obscuring mist. Caster level equals hit dice. Create Water is a [Water] effect and Obscuring Mist is an [Ice] effect.

The sample Buizel has a caster level of 4.

Water Pokemon Traits: Grass and Electric attacks are Super Effective, gaining a +4 Circumstance Bonus to the attack roll or Save DC, and dealing extra damage equal to the attacker's hit dice. Water, Ice, Steel and Fire attacks are Not Very Effective, having a -4 Circumstance Penalty to the attack roll or Save DC, and reducing the damage by Buizel's hit dice (4).

Additional Hit Dice: At 6 and 8 Hit Dice, Buizel's Swim Speed increases by 5 feet. At 7 Hit Dice, it can cast control winds and Fireward once each per hour - the first as a [Flying] effect, the second as a [Water] effect. At 9 HD, Crunch deals 1d4 Con damage.

Note: If using Tome Feats, replace Improved Initiative with Danger Sense.
