A combined effect grenade allows you to craft one or more mundane alchemical items into a single bomb that activates all of the items at once.

=== Using the Grenade ===

You can throw this bomb as a ranged touch attack with a range increment of 20 feet. When it strikes a hard surface it activates the effects of all of its component items at once, requiring saving throws, dealing damage, or providing whatever other effects you would expect. 

Since you don’t need to hit a specific target, you can simply aim at a particular 5-foot square. Treat the target square as AC 5.

If a component item requires a more stringent attack (such as a normal ranged attack roll or a smaller range increment), then that attack must be used for that particular component to have any effect.

=== Effects ===

All saving throw DCs for the component item effects are reduced by 2. You can't pick the same component item more than once.

=== Cost ===

A Combined Effect Grenade costs the base amount of all the component items, plus 25% of the second least expensive component, plus 50% of the third least expensive component, and so on. For two component items, this means it is the base costs + 25% of the highest priced item of the two.

=== Example ===

Combining a [[Flash Bomb (3.5e Equipment)|Flash Bomb]] (50 gp) and a [[SRD:Thunderstone|Thunderstone]] (30 gp) will cost 80 gp + 25% of 50 gp = 92.5 gp. The thunderstone requires a ranged attack if it is to hit a target and work, so if you throw it at a flying creature and your roll hits as a ranged touch attack, but not a ranged attack, the creature will have to save against blindness ([[SRD:Reflex|Reflex]] DC 13), but not against deafness.
