|flavor=Jokingly referred to as 'the no spell', this is widely-used and just as widely hated. Requiring only a single word from its user, 'no' is the popular choice.
|description=This spell can be used in response to Step 1d of any spell or spell-like ability used by the target. The spell or spell-like ability is countered immediately, having no effect. This cannot be used to counter a spell or spell-like ability higher than 1st level (for abilities with no level, treat them as having a level equal to half of the class level at which their user gained them).

This spell allows spell resistance normally (but see Enhanced).
|enhanced=This spell does not allow spell resistance.
|diminished=This spell can only counter a spell or spell-like ability of 0-level. If abilities have no such level, they can only be countered if they were gained at 1st class level.
|immune=No effect.
|augment=This spell can be augmented to any level of slot. It allows the user to counter any spell or spell-like ability of up to that level as described above. A diminished version of such a spell can counter a spell or spell-like ability up to one level lower.
