Covering Grapple [Fighter, Tactical] "Chunk good bodyguard. Guard with body, see?"Prerequisites: Improved GrappleBenefit: The Covering Grapple feat enables the use of three tactical maneuvers.

I Gotcha: When grappling a willing creature at least one size category smaller than you, you may do so as a free action instead of as an attack action. The grappled ally gains soft cover (+4 AC), and you and your ally do not gain the penalties usually associated with grappling while doing this.

Get Out Of Here: While grappling a willing creature at least one size category smaller than you, you may throw them as a move action. Make a grapple check; they are thrown 5 feet away for every 5 points of the check result (minimum 5 feet). The thrown creature only takes damage as if they traveled half the distance (meaning they can be thrown up to 15 feet safely), and they do not land prone as long as they are not helpless. You can always throw less than your check result.

I'll Save You: While grappling a willing creature at least one size category smaller than you, you may cover them with your body as an immediate action. The grappled ally gains total cover and line of effect to them is blocked. Your ally cannot use the total cover to hide. Any attacks directed at the ally instead strike you as if you were the target. You cannot take any actions while you are actively shielding your ally. You and your target gain the normal penalties for grappling in this state, and you may release them at the beginning of your next turn.
