With a puff of stale grave dust and foul air, your own corpse appears before you, which immediately ragdolls across the chair.

When you cast this spell you create a false corpse of a pre-existing creature. The corpse can be conjured into a position or be left to ragdoll normally, and can appear to have any number or wounds or cause of death. It comes dressed as you see fit, though its items are fake copies that break easily. As part of casting you make a Disguise check with a +10 bonus to determine how good the likeness is; this result is opposed by observers' Spot checks as normal. Creatures touching the corpse directly get a +4 bonus to determine the body is a fake. Otherwise it has the same appearance, touch, taste, smell, and texture of a real corpse. The corpse cannot be used to create undead, and does not radiate magic.

If prepared in a spell slot two levels higher, you may cast this spell as an immediate action, but it only lasts 1 round/level. Assassins sometimes use this in conjunction with invisibility for decoys while escaping.

Material Component: A scrap of hair or skin from the person being duplicated.
