Cross Explosion

Range: Long (400 ft. + 40 ft./level)
Area: Two 60-ft. Lines.
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex Half (see text)
Spell Resistance: Yes

The caster fires a ball of unstable flames at a grid intersection within the spell's range. Any creature occupying a square adjacent to the chosen grid intersection takes 1 point of fire damage per caster level (maximum 10), this damage is halved on a successful Reflex save against the spell. After a moment the ball explodes into two perpendicular two 60-ft. lines centered on the square, one horizontal and one vertical. All creatures caught in the area take 1d6 fire damage per caster level (maximum of 10d6) with a Reflex save for half damage.

Any creature of large size or smaller that fail their Reflex save also fall prone and are pushed 5-ft outward of the spell's area.

Focus: A brass medal worth 50 gp.
