The Crowned Sword Nathyuhalt was bestowed to a Champion of the Goddess Ilyodyne, whose divine mission was to become the rightful ruler of a country. Nathyuhalt is a adamantine longsword, it's dark silvery blade is decorated with patterns of stars. The crown-like guard of the blade bears the symbol of the Goddess. In the hand of its rightful owner, the Nathyuhalt's powers are restored and it glows with silvery light. A potential wielder can become the rightful owner through a quest this function cannot be replicated by Use Magic Device.
While it true power is revealed, Nathyuhalt gains the Holy enhancement and is always under the effect of greater magic weapon with a caster level equal to the wielder's character level. As long as the blade is wielded, the wielder receives a Deflection bonus to AC equal to its enhancement bonus as field of force protects her. On a natural 20, the blade ignores all hardness and DR and its critical multiplier becomes x4 instead of x2.
Nathyuhalt is blade destined for a monarch, if the wielder is a CavalierPathfinder, KnightPHB2 or a Paladin she gains an additional use of Challenge, Knight's Challenge and Smite Evil per day. If the wielder possesses a banner, her banner bonus increases by 1. These bonuses are active for as long as the blade is in the possession, it does not need to be actively wielded.
Finally Nathyuhalt's scabbard protects the rightful wielder and provides the wielder with additional powers. Once per day, if the wielder of the scabbard would be slain by an attack she may survive the attack at 50% hit point or her current hit points, whichever is lower. Finally the wielder is able to use the scabbard to replicate the effect of guiding star at-will while under a clear night sky.
Destruction: To destroy Nathyuhalt it must be placed on a throne of a fallen kingdom, then struck by Kingdom Smasher.
