After being hit by this spell, Tordek didn't feel weaker, or anything else. But suddenly he found that his swings kept missing their mark, and didn't hit as hard when he did connect to his target. He didn't feel less agile, but suddenly he couldn't balance as well, or climb as quickly. What was going on?

This spell forces any and all dice rolls made by an affected creature to be made with one size smaller die. Meaning a d20 roll would now be a d12, a fireball cast by a 12th level wizard would deal 12d4 damage instead of 12d6, and a percentage roll would be made with two d8s instead of two d10s. This reduction makes critical hits impossible to achieve except through magical effects (such as forsee weakness).

However, upon rolling a natural 12 on a roll which would normally allow for a critical or auto-success, the affected creature receives a morale bonus to his roll equal to 1/2 his HD, representing an extreme effort of will to overcome their ineptitude. For each such result, the spell's duration is reduced by one minute.

The curse may not be dispelled, but the spells break enchantment, limited wish, miracle, remove curse, and wish also remove this spell.
