Determined Summoner

A determine summoner possess potent summoning abilities, but share a link with her summoned monster and is staggered when they are slain and her summoning abilities are very rigid compared to most.

Class: Wizard

Prerequisites: Must be able to cast summon monster spells.

Level: 1st

Replaces: A Determined Summoner must choose a spell school as prohibited school, this is in addition to any school she prohibited as part of specializing.

Benefit: A Determined Summoner gain the following class features:

Summoning Mastery: A determined summoner may prepare a summon monster spell of any level she can cast without needing to learn it first or refer to her spell book. She gain Augment Summoning as a bonus feat and she count as having Spell Focus (Conjuration) for the purpose of qualifying for prerequisites for feats.

Monster Link (Ex): If any creature she summoned through a summon monster spell is slain , the determined summoner becomes staggered for 1 round.

Rigid Summoning (Ex): When preparing a summon monster spell you must specify the creature that will be summoned. Thus when the spell is cast, it cannot be used to summon any other creatures. However summoning spell cast this way have their duration extended to Concentration + 1 round per level.

Additionally at 3rd level, the summoned creature receives the benefits of one of the following effect for as long as it summoned: enlarge monster, expeditious retreat or magic fang. At 5th level you add barksin and blur to the list of effect you may add to the summoned creature. At 7th level you add haste and fly to the list of effect you may add to the summoned creature.
