A tiny baby cherub stands there with a small red and white bow and arrow, complete with heart shaped tip. You wonder how the fig leaf glued to its crotch says on.

These tiny cherubs are sometimes mistaken for angels, but they are actually fey, and no more intelligent than dogs. They are "Holiday Spirits", one of several fey which were produced as a result of widespread holiday use. This particular holiday spirit is associated with Valentine's Day and appears as the classic baby-like cherub of love. They are perceptive little sprites, keen on the emotions of others and seem to delight in enhancing emotions (or sometimes creating them for the sake of irony).

Doki dokis do not speak but make "baby noises" and vocalizations. They are effectively animals to the fey, and the human-shape of these things tends to unnerve them.

CombatEdit

A doki doki dislikes combat. They find creatures, stalk them, then quietly snipe them and depart before they're noticed. A noticed doki doki is a dead doki doki.

Charm (Su): When the doki doki hits with its love bow, it creates a special form of charm person which counts the next person the creature interacts with as the caster of the charm effect, and on a failed save the charmed creature is unaware of any nonlethal damage they took from the attack (but will notice from future attacks). The DC is 13, and on a successful save the creature is immune to further attempts for 24 hours. They may also be cross at having taken nonlethal damage. Once used, the doki doki cannot use charm again for 1 hour. Charm is Charisma based.

Love Bow (Ex): The doki doki can create a tiny sized bow for it. These bows have infinite ammo, deal nonlethal damage, and only have a range increment of 30 ft. If the bow or arrows are out of the doki doki's hands for more than 1 round, it vanishes in a puff of smoke, but a new one can be created with no more trouble than drawing a weapon.

Lucky (Ex): The doki doki is a lucky thing. It adds its Charisma modifier as a luck bonus to AC and initiative.

Shake Up (Su): When the doki doki hits with its slap attack (a much more dangerous task as it must be in melee), it grants the opponent another saving throw against any charm or compulsion effect they are currently under. This only works once per charm or compulsion effect they are under, regardless of the result of the second roll.

FamiliarEdit

Doki dokis may be used as familiars, in which case it has the alignment of its owner. Doki dokis give a +3 bonus on Diplomacy checks.
