A strange hybrid between a [[SRD:Repeating Heavy Crossbow|repeating heavy crossbow]] and a [[SRD:Heavy Pick|heavy pick]], it is treated as a martial weapon for dwarves. When used in melee it has the damage, crit and properties of a [[SRD:Heavy Pick|heavy pick]] of it size.  Thanks to it form, firing in melee with a dwarven guardbow do not provoke an attack of opportunity.  

Like the repeating heavy crossbow holds 5 [[SRD:Repeating Crossbow Bolts|crossbow bolts]]. As long as it holds bolts, you can reload it by pulling the reloading lever (a [[SRD:Free Actions|free action]]). Loading a new case of 5 bolts is a [[SRD:Full-Round Actions|full-round action]], but thanks to it form it does not provokes [[SRD:Attack of Opportunity|attacks of opportunity]].

You can fire a repeating dwarven guardbow with one hand or fire a dwarven guardbow in each hand in the same manner as you would a normal [[SRD:Heavy Crossbow|heavy crossbow]]. However, you must fire the weapon with two hands in order to use the reloading lever, and you must use two hands to load a new case of bolts.
