Elush's Eye-Blasting Explosion

Saving Throw:	Fort negates or Ref half (see text)

Although Elush was generally a good guy to know, he was fond of extremely brutal spells to deal with those he wasn't happy with. This particularly nasty spell converts the target's eyes to acid, which then sprays in all directions.

The target is blinded, and if it had any special abilities stemming from up to two of its eyes (such as a gaze attack or an eye beam), that ability becomes nonfunctional (no save is allowed against this effect, although spell resistance applies). If a creature has more than that number of eyes, the caster must choose which eyes lose such abilities (although the blindness is total in any case). Additionally, the target is dealt 1d8 acid damage (Fort negates both, spell resistance applies).

Anything within the subject's reach (except the caster) is dealt 1d6 acid damage (Ref half, spell resistance does not apply).

A heal, limited wish, miracle, regeneration, remove blindness/deafness or wish spell both restores lost sight and returns any abilities removed by this spell to normal.
