You project a beam of dark blue energy which sap the life out of those struck, dealing 1 point of damages per caster level (to a maximum 10). If a creature is below 50% of it maximum hit points, it instead take 1d8+1 damages per caster level (to a maximum of 10d8+10). After the initial casting you may concentrate on the spell, redirecting the beam to a new target every round, to a maximum of three ray attacks after 2 rounds of concentrations.
