A massive firebird dives toward you at incredible speed. Its entire body is made of voracious flames.

A flame phoenix is a powerful elemental capable of burning entire areas to ashes in seconds. They are also gifted with immortality, and if not dealt with quickly, they can rise again unharmed from their broken form.

Combat

Aura of Defense (Su): A flame phoenix always radiates a powerful aura of protection, granting it immunity to death effects, mind-affecting effects, and ability damage and drain. In addition, the aura grants the flame phoenix a +5 deflection bonus to AC and saves against evil creatures or effects created by evil creatures.

Everbright Fire (Ex): A flame phoenix's fire is so strong that it ignores fire resistance and immunity.

Fire Shroud (Ex): Any creatures starting their turn within 30 feet of the phoenix take 5d6 fire damage and must make a reflex save or burn for 3 rounds (DC 32). Creatures grappled by the phoenix or grappling the take 10d6 damage instead and burn without a saving throw.

Improved Evasion (Ex): As the rogue ability.

Immolating Blast (Su): As swift action, the flame phoenix may project a massive cone of fire by beating it wings; treat this as a cone of cold but it deals fire damage and is a supernatural ability (DC 32) to push all caught creatures as hurricane-strength wind.

Spell-like Ability: At will— dire erupting fireball (DC 27), fireball (DC 23), fire sweeper (DC 25), meteor swarm (DC 29); 3/day— heal (DC 27), merton (DC 28), nine acre fire (DC 29), superexplosion (DC 29). Caster level 19th. The save DCs are Charisma-based and include a +7 Racial bonus to DC.

Rebirth (Ex): When the phoenix reaches 0 hit points, it immolates, causing every creatures within 100 feet to take 10d6 fire damage and catch on fire (a successful reflex save halves the damage and negates the catching on fire). This ability leaves an egg behind. The egg has 100 hit points and has a hardness of 40. Within 1d4+1 rounds, the egg hatches, revealing a flame phoenix at full hit points with all positive and negative status effects removed from it. If the egg is destroyed, the phoenix is slain forever.

True Seeing (Su): Flame Phoenix have a continuous true seeing ability, as the spell (caster level 19th).
