An unconventional non-lethal modern weapon, this is a powerful flashlight that can blind, sicken, dazzle, and more.  It can be used as a normal flashlight (treat it as a [[SRD:Bullseye Lantern|bullseye lantern]] that runs on batteries).  You may also make ranged touch attacks as an attack action out to 60 ft; on a successful attack the creature is [[SRD:Dazzled|dazzled]] for 1 round and treated as if exposed to bright light for the purposes of light blindness.  It does not count as true daylight.  The flashlight's light has no function on creatures which are blind.

In addition there are stronger functions on the flash gun.  You can use any of the following abilities as a standard action, after which there is a 1 round cooldown before you can use it again.

The flashlight may be used as an improvised [[SRD:Club|club]].

The flashlight function has 8 charges and uses 1 charge per hour of use per day.  It takes two [[Energy Cell (3.5e Equipment)|energy cells]] each with 4 charges worth of use each, and both can be changed as a standard action or a single one as a move action.  A flash gun weighs 4 lbs.
