The user of this ability uses his ki to move himself up to a distance equal to twice his movement speed. He moves so fast during this action that he appears to teleport and disappears from his current location and reappears in the square of his choosing. Doing so allows him to move without anyone on the battlefield being aware of his movement. 

While using this ability, the user does not provoke an [[SRD:Attacks of Opportunity|attack of opportunity]] from any creature he moves through the square of (unless they can make a DC 50 Dexterity check or Reflex save). He ignores any difficult terrain that is not magically enchanted to impede movement, but any terrain magically enchanted still effects him as normal. The user cannot use Climb or Swim during this action; however, he '''can''' use Jump or Tumble checks or fly if he possesses that ability in conjunction with this ability.

This ability cannot be used to escape a grapple or pin, and because this is still physical movement, the user must have line of effect to the area he wants to move to and must be able to fit in each square in the path travelled. Therefore, this cannot be used for escaping a cage, going through a wall of force, fitting through a tiny hole in a wall not big enough for normal movement, crossing a chasm or hole the user wouldn't be able to otherwise jump or fly over, moving across water or lava or the like, etc. The user can only use this when normal movement would be permitted to the destination. This ability cannot be used in conjunction with a charge.

The user can use this ability as follows: 

for 1 ki point as a full round action,<br/> 
for 3 points as a standard action,<br/>
for 5 points as a move action,<br/>
for 7 points as a swift action, or<br/>
for 9 points as an immediate action. 

If used as an immediate action, this ability cannot be used with any other abilities that allow immediate actions. The immediate action use can only be used to avoid incoming attacks when it is not the user’s turn if the attack in question normally allows for a Reflex saving throw.
