Said to be created when the body of a holy man is cremated, ghostfire is a special kind of quasi-incorporeal undead. From a distance it look like an incorporeal deep blue to violet flame, but close inspection reveal it to be more akin to smoke than fire.
Motes of ghostfire tend to be shy and non-aggressive, fleeing from most fights unless cornered. It is sometime used by exorcists and undead hunters for it immunity to turning and it ability to repel ioncorporeal undead.
CombatEdit
Deathless Spirit: A mote of ghostfire is treated as living whenever it would be beneficial, as a result it cannot be turned or rebuked and can be healed by both positive and negative energy.
Ghostly Chill (Su): A mote of ghostfire can use a incorporeal touch attack as a standard action, replicating the effect of chill touch except that a successful Fortitude save negate the effect completely.
Ghostlight: A mote of ghostfire glow as power the light spell, however once per day it may glow as a Ghostlight for up to one round per hit dice it has or per hit dice it master has (if it a familiar).
Quasi-Incorporeal: The ghostfire is not incorporeal, but does have an incorporeal touch attack and is resistant to material effects. In addition, they are immune to being crushed (but not bludgeoning damage from sudden impact). It cannot be grappled, and can phase though up to 5 ft of solid material. Like a incorporeal creature, it adds its Charisma to its AC as a deflection bonus.
Spell-Like Abilities: At will— dancing lights, ghost sound; 1/day— produce flame, speak with dead.
Animal Companion and FamiliarEdit
The ghostfire can be taken as a familiar. It grants the owner no bonus, but the creature's own abilities are often enough.
