These soft leather gloves are dusted with dust of dryness, slowly flaking off the studs of drystone embedded within. While not enough to bead up, its enough to remove moisture from whatever you touch.
When these gloves are handled or donned, they are said to be uncomfortable to the touch as it dramatically (but harmlessly) dries out the skin on your hands. While wearing the gloves you may use repel liquid at will. In addition, any very wet or Water subtyped creature which grapples you takes 2 points of desiccation damage on any grapple check, and 2 point of damage whenever you deal damage in a grapple.
Prerequisites: CL 3rd; Craft Wondrous Item; repel liquid; Market price 1,000 gp; 500 gp + 40 XP.
