This broom is able to fly through the air as if affected by an ''[[SRD:Overland Flight|overland flight]] ''spell (average maneuverability) with unlimited duration and a fly speed of 50 ft instead of 40 ft.  It can hover as if it had perfect maneuverability, and can use the [[SRD:Wingover|Wingover]] feat.  The broom is technically an intelligent item with [[Int]] 10, [[Wis]] 10, and [[Cha]] 1, darkvision 60 ft, and low-light vision, but it has no Ego score and never conflicts with those it identifies as its owner.  It can understand Common but cannot speak.  The broom can carry and support as many creatures and as much weight as a [[SRD:Heavy Warhorse|heavy warhorse]].  One can make Ride checks (though it is intelligent enough to usually not need them), and it moves using its own move actions.

Because the broom is intelligent it can understand complex actions, including traveling alone to any destination (as long as it knows where to go) or even performing menial tasks such as sweeping or acting as a sentry.  It has no attacks, but can make aid another checks in combat by swatting and harassing.  It comes to its owner from as far away as 1 mile when they speak the command word.  When unattended, greater brooms of flying as Medium sized objects with [[Dex]] 10, AC 15 (+5 natural), hardness 5, and 150 hp.
