Effectively two grenades tied together on string, they can be thrown and used as normal bolas.  However, as a swift action you can pull the pin on both explosives and throw it.  It attacks as normal (either a normal attack or a trip attempt) and explodes, dealing 4d6 fire damage in a 10 ft radius burst, [[Reflex]] save DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + [[Dex]] modifier for half damage.  A creature successfully struck by or tripped by the grenade bolas receives no save on the additional fire damage.  This destroys the grenade bolas.

Like normal [[SRD:Bolas|bolas]], you can use this weapon to make a ranged trip attack against an opponent. You can’t be tripped during your own trip attempt when using a set of grenade bolas. 

Proficiency in bolas and any feats which apply to bolas also applies to this weapon.
