Handwraps are special cloth wraps designed to be wrapped around the hand and between the fingers, so as to shield the knuckles from damage when striking. Despite the name, they can also be used to wrap the feet instead, or fastened together as a headband to enhance your ability to headbutt people. The price and weight are for a matched pair of handwraps.

Handwraps require 1 minute to don, and an action to doff. However, you cannot drop them, and you cannot be disarmed of Handwraps unless someone takes an action to remove one from you while you are incapacitated.

Handwraps are considered special Monk weapons. While these weapons deal no damage on their own, they do not interfere with your unarmed strikes, and in fact, when used to attack, they deal damage equal to your unarmed strike damage, and are considered unarmed strikes for the purposes of features that interact with unarmed strikes (Such as a Monk's ''Flurry of Blows''). The main purpose of these weapons is to provide a way to enchant unarmed strikes by creating magical Handwraps, embroidered with runes or made of special materials, that apply their enchantments to the wielder's unarmed strikes. 

Likewise, as light melee weapons that cost 1sp, they are not only eligible for Two-Weapon Fighting, but are also eligible for use with spells such as ''Green-Flame Blade'' or ''Ensnaring Strike''.
