== Hinder Energy ==

[[Summary::Hinder Energy (also known as Energy Hindrance or Damage Hindrance) grants a creature a percentage resistance to a given energy or damage type.]] Unless noted on the creature entry, a creature with Energy Hindrance resists 50% (half damage) of the energy or damage type.

For example, a creature with [[SRD:Fire Effect|Fire]] Hindrance takes half damage from fire. Or, a creature with Bludgeoning & Falling Hindrance 90% takes only 1/10th the damage from bludgeoning and [[SRD:Falling|falling]] damage sources.

Energy Hindrance is applied to the actual damage of that type taken by a creature. That is, it is applied after applicable energy resistance or damage reductions.
